Vic: Govt look at all areas of CFA safety, Thwaites
The Victorian government says it will consider many measures to improve the safetyof firefighters.
The announcement follows the call from the mother of the teenage Linton bushfire victimfor the minimum age of volunteer firefighters to be raised from 16 to 18.
Acting Premier JOHN THWAITES says the government will be looking at a raft of issuesaround the Country Fire Authority.
He says they'll be looking at all of the recommendations of the Linton coronial inquiry.
