COLONIE - Yellow smiley faces adorn every empty space in Blue Creek Elementary School's entrance. The cheery paper cutouts stick to the library door's frame, the hallway bulletin board, the events calendar and the students-of-the-month display.
In the careful block lettering of young students learning to write, the faces proclaim the children's good deeds.
"I helped a lot of old people," reads one.
"I made everyone laugh at the hockey game," reads another.
