MELBOURNE, Aug 10 AAP - Conditions on Victoria's snowfields today:

MT HOTHAM: Good dry packed groomed snow cover for skiing and boarding in all open terrain.

12 lifts open. Snow depth: 86cm. Wind: Light SSE. Overnight temp: -2.6 C.

FALLS CREEK: Good packed snow cover softening later for skiing and boarding in all
open areas. 15 lifts open. Snow depth: 95 cm. Wind: Light NNW. Overnight temp: -0.9 C.

MT BULLER: Good to very good packed snow cover for skiing and boarding with extensive
grooming on all open areas. 17 lifts open. Snow depth: 75cm. Winds: Light N. Overnight
temp: -1.6 C.

MT BAW BAW: Good skiing and boarding on a firm groomed snow cover. Wind: Light NW.

Snow depth: 14cm. Overnight temp: -0.7 C.

LAKE MOUNTAIN: Poor skiing on all trails. Overnight temp: 1.0C. Snow depth: 3cm. Wind: Calm NW.

MT BUFFALO: Patchy sightseeing snow and snowplay. Snow depth: 2cm.

DINNER PLAIN: Fair skiing and boarding on a packed snow cover. One lift open. Snow
depth: not available.

MT STIRLING: No skiable snow lower trails. Snow depth: 25cm.

MT ST GWINEAR: Fair cross country on firm packed snow on the main trail, fair to good
coverage elsewhere. Snow depth: 17cm.

MT DONNA BUANG: Poor sightseeing and snowplay. Snow depth: 2cm.
