NSW: Increase in child protection reports 'tragic' - Meagher = 2
Opposition spokeswoman for community services and youth affairs Gladys Berejiklian
said the government was revealing only half the details.
"What is most alarming about that figure is that the state government is only giving
us half the story," Ms Berejiklian told reporters.
"How many of those reports are actually followed up?"
"How many of those reports are looked at in a timely fashion and what is the outcome?"
